In 1980s Britain, Enid takes her role as a film censor very seriously to protect audiences from the twisted minds behind the films of the video nasties era. When she is assigned to review a particularly disturbing film from the archives, it triggers memories of the mysterious disappearance of her sister, years ago when Enid was still a child. As the events of the film appear more and more alike to her past, the lines between reality and fiction blur and Enid begins to unravel, riddled with guilt over what may have happened to her sister. CENSOR is a bloody yet moving look at grief, trauma and censorship wrapped in a love letter to the video nasties.
